ReCor Introduces Lotus Sametime 2.5 Training
Evanston, IL (May 27, 2002) -- ReCor Corporation, a leading developer of corporate technology training solutions, announced today that LearningDocs for Sametime 2.5 is scheduled to be released in July 2002. This course takes advantage of all of the features of ReCor's LearningDocs training system and represents the latest addition to ReCor's popular series of Domino-based training solutions.
The LearningDocs for Sametime 2.5 course covers all the features and capabilities of the latest version of Lotus' Web conferencing and collaboration software, including attending meetings, setting up meetings, and instant messaging. This three-hour course consists of over fifty learning modules, each providing rich-text content with interactive simulations of Sametime. Administrators can set up the training as a comprehensive computer-based-training solution and track the progress of each user in the course. Built-in skills assessments test each user on their knowledge of Sametime, and the Discussion feature allows users to communicate with peers and Help Desk staff to provide multiple layers of training support. In addition, LearningDocs for Sametime can be installed directly on the Domino R5 server hosting the Sametime services to provide an integrated just-in-time training solution accessible directly from the Sametime client.
Based on ReCor's latest version of LearningDocs (version 5), the Sametime course provides complete instruction on using Sametime, as well as full performance tracking for each student taking the course. As with all LearningDocs solutions, the administrator can customize the rich-text content and skills assessment by adding or modifying each learning module to reflect how his or her organization uses Sametime.
