ReCor Announces Enhanced Lotus Notes 6.5 Training
Evanston, IL (May 19, 2004) -- ReCor Corporation, a leading developer of corporate technology training solutions, today announced the release of enhanced versions of ReCor’s LearningDocs training series for Lotus Notes 6.5. These new versions (which are based on LearningDocs 6.1) incorporate a number of improvements, including quick reference cards that can be customized by organizations to address their users’ needs. These customizable quick reference cards extend ReCor’s philosophy of combining multiple learning methodologies to maximize the effectiveness of the training process.

In the enhanced LearningDocs for Lotus Notes 6.5 training series, the quick reference cards are available to users as .PDF files that can be printed on demand. They are also available to administrators as Microsoft Word documents that can be easily modified to reflect how Lotus Notes is used within their organizations. In addition, administrators can create their own quick reference cards and seamlessly incorporate them into the training.

LearningDocs for Lotus Notes 6.5 includes four quick reference cards:

  • Notes 6.5 Basics
  • Notes 6.5 Mail
  • Notes 6.5 Calendar and Scheduling
  • Notes 6.5 Instant Messaging and Presence Awareness
As with previous versions of LearningDocs, the latest versions combine printable content, interactive E-learning, just-in-time training, and help desk support into an integrated learning solution. Users can access the learning content from their existing Notes client or using a Web browser. This unique, multi-faceted approach to training builds users’ knowledge and skills throughout the Notes migration process, thereby increasing their overall proficiency and maximizing the return on their investment in Notes/Domino.

Unlike other training solutions, LearningDocs for Lotus Notes is designed to address user education during each stage of a Lotus Notes migration or deployment, thus becoming an integral part of the Notes deployment process.

ReCor’s training series for Lotus Notes 6.5 consists of four courses, including two migration courses. The two migration courses address the needs of organizations migrating from Lotus Notes 4.x or Lotus Notes 5 to Lotus Notes 6.5.
