ReCor Announces New Lotus Notes 8.5 Training Course
Evanston, IL (June 11, 2009) – ReCor Corporation announces the release of LearningDocs for Lotus Notes 8.5, a fully customizable course designed for current Notes users migrating to Notes 8.5, as well as new users in need of comprehensive training.
The Lotus Notes 8 course has been completely updated and revamped to reflect Notes 8.5. Plus, new lessons have been added to cover the new features of Notes 8.5, such as the ability to overlay multiple calendars on top of your own calendar, or using the right-click menu to mark messages read or unread. Altogether, the new course contains over 90 lessons. The course is available either through the Lotus Notes client or through the Web.
Lessons have been added to expand coverage of certain topics that are now more in demand than in previous versions of Notes. For example, this course contains much more coverage on synchronizing contacts, because so many users need to access their contacts from their mobile devices. Sharing contacts is also covered in this course.
Customizable Content
LearningDocs now supports up to 10 custom curriculums per course. This means that you can tailor the curriculum for different groups of learners. Included in this course are several curriculum templates that are designed for users migrating from an older version of Notes to version 8.5.
Additional Features
Four quick reference cards are available on the following topics: Notes 8.5 Basics, Mail, Calendar and Meetings, and Instant Messaging. You can choose cards from these topics that correspond to each custom curriculum. The Notes 8.5 course also features interactive lessons that mimic the actual experience of using Notes 8.5. Skills Assessments are also available to gauge users’ knowledge and abilities.
