ReCor's LearningDocs Delivers Training for Microsoft Office 2000 via Lotus Notes
Evanston, IL. (March 1, 2001) -- ReCor Corporation, a developer of corporate e-learning solutions, announced that it is now offering courses for Microsoft's Office 2000 Suite in its LearningDocs format. LearningDocs is a Lotus Notes-based e-learning delivery and management system developed by ReCor.
LearningDocs was developed as a way for organizations with a Lotus Notes infrastructure to quickly and easily deploy e-learning to their users. A LearningDocs course consists of a single Lotus Notes database. Topics within a course are presented as individual documents, with the content available both as rich-text and in the form of interactive modules.
Robert Burton, Vice President of Development for ReCor, commented, "Initially we offered courses for only Lotus Notes in LearningDocs. However, many of our customers recognized the value of a Notes-based training delivery solution and asked for Microsoft Office training in this format. LearningDocs further increases the already impressive ROI that organizations are realizing from Lotus Notes."
Courses for Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access in the Microsoft Office 2000 suite are available. LearningDocs can be accessed through the Lotus Notes desktop or through a browser. Additionally, customers can customize the content to create new lessons or modify lessons for their specific needs.
