Wolcott Systems Group Integrates ReCor Training into R5 Migration Tool
Evanston, IL (July 20, 2001) --ReCor Corporation, a Lotus Premier Business Partner and leading provider of e-learning solutions, announced a partnership with Wolcott Systems Group (WSG) to incorporate ReCor's LearningDocs training solution into WSG's Automated Deployment Toolkit (ADT) to provide a holistic solution to migrate users to Lotus Notes R5.
ADT provides a fully automated process for deploying, upgrading, or migrating an existing messaging system to R5. ADT is the result of over eight years of experience in planning and executing complex Lotus Notes mail deployment and migration projects. Many large organizations have utilized ADT for their Lotus Notes R5 migrations.

As a proven training solution, a number of major organizations such as the American Cancer Society have implemented LearningDocs for Lotus Notes to provide training to their employees. The Domino-based LearningDocs solution provides enterprise-wide training that incorporates highly interactive content through the Lotus Notes client or through a Web browser. LearningDocs content is fully customizable and able to match an organization's unique Lotus Notes environment. LearningDocs also includes a skills assessment module that records and stores student results enterprise-wide. "An essential part of the Lotus Notes R5 migration process is training, which ensures that users know how to take advantage of the productivity boosting features of R5," says Robert Burton, ReCor's Vice President of Product Development, "To fully utilize the power of Lotus Notes R5, users need to complete the training before migrating."
LearningDocs training is now integrated into ADT, so that each user must complete the training in order to receive the upgrade to R5. LearningDocs automatically informs the ADT system when a user has passed the skills assessment, allowing that user to proceed to the next step in the upgrade process. The result is that end-user training now becomes an integral part of the migration process, reducing tech support needs and increasing productivity and ROI after the migration.
