ReCor Announces LearningDocs for Lotus Quickr 8.1
Evanston, IL (April 16, 2009) – ReCor Corporation announced today the release of 'LearningDocs for Lotus Quickr 8.1.' The new course includes 53 lessons on using Lotus Quickr. The lessons cover accessing places, working in places and rooms, creating and customizing places, and using Quickr Connectors.
IBM Lotus Quickr is a software application that provides web-based file storage, file sharing, and document management capabilities. It is designed for use by project teams, departments, and even entire business units, with the intention that each team leader or manager would create a web site where people can share files and documents. In the language of Quickr, such a web site is called a 'place.' Any number of places can be created using Quickr.
There are two different ways of working in Quickr. One way is to use a web browser to access a place and then use the controls and features available in that place to access and update content. The other way is to use Quickr Connectors, a set of software tools that allow people to access content directly from applications such as Windows Explorer, Microsoft Office, and Lotus Notes.
